Beeston Technology Park, Beeston – Expert Witness

Graham Chase was appointed as Expert Witness against the Claimant Siemens PLC (SPLC) by Chancerygate to representing the Respondent, Beeston Business Parks LLP (BBP), in this dispute as to the Open Market Value of residential development land at Beeston Technology Park, Beeston Nottinghamshire. This dispute arose as a result of the failure of the parties to reach an agreement as to the “Open Market Value” (OMV) and therefore required the determination of an Independent Chartered Surveyor to resolve the issue. Graham Chase investigated the comparable evidence around Nottingham, secured a witness of fact report from Savills as the selling agent, confirming the marketing history, extent of offers received, the informal tender process and negotiations leading to the sale to Barratts Homes. He undertook negotiations in an effort to settle the dispute with the Claimant on behalf of the Respondent.
