We introduced the availability of this leisure centre investment in central Birmingham to Aviva Investors and advised them on the purchase.

Broadway Plaza is located close to Birmingham city centre at Fiveways, which is adjacent to Broad Street, the main leisure destination in Birmingham. The multi-level scheme comprises of some 277,716 sq ft of accommodation with the anchor tenants including AMC multiplex cinemas, Broadway Casino, Bowlplex, Virgin Active Health Club and a Travelodge Hotel. The scheme also houses a number of restaurants and retail units and is served by a 1,400 space car park.

A price of £76,500,000 was paid to secure the freehold interest in an “off market” transaction. We prepared a valuation and purchase report for our client.
