Lords Building Merchant – CPO

Chase and Partners were approached by Lords Building Merchant in 2015 in relation to their property at Europa Studios and Radford Industrial Estate, Park Royal, due to the anticipated CPO order as a result of HS2 vesting part of their property. Chase and Partners undertook an inspection of the property in order to gain a full understanding of the detrimental implications any CPO would have on the operations of their business, asses the programme and timescales on the intended works and discuss whether the loss of land was permanent or if there was scope to negotiate only temporary disruption. Chase and Partners liaised with the acquiring authority in order to assess the level of compensation applicable to Lord Building Merchant as a result of the land being acquired and the effect on their business.
